My Views On West Bengal Elections

“West Bengal elections are not just for a change in the govt, I can see the rise of an aspirational and optimistic West Bengal in these polls. Be it villages or cities, I can see yearning for a better life”

-PM Modi

The West Bengal Elections began about a month ago and there were some issues that I would like to emphasise on.

  • Why is BJP considered as a “Hindu” political party? —————————- During the BJP rally there were only the slogans of “Jai Shree Ram!”. Why was it so? Every party is supposed to support every single community throughout the nation. I myself am a Hindu and I feel sorry for the other communities which were neglected this time and maybe earlier too. People sometimes don’t notice and even if they do notice they turn a blind eye towards that issue. I would like to emphasize that every community has a right to be recognized.
  • Why were COVID guidelines not followed? ————————————– In various video clips and pictures people can be seen without masks and not following the social-distancing guidelines. The COVID cases began springing up in February 2021, and appropriate guidelines were a must to be followed. I would like to emphasize that COVID-19 is a serious disease and one should follow all the appropriate guidelines to ensure one’s own safety and the other people’s safety.
